[en] hi peeps! only 6 days are left until christmas eve! have you already bought all the gifts for your beloved ones? i nearly got all of them. only 3 presents are left and most of them are already wrapped up. here in germany it is so unbelieavably warm so that a real christmas atmosphere doesn't really arise. how about you? i'm rather in the mood for a mai tai than the obligatory mulled wine on the christmas market - i wonder if the stand owners already edited their portfolio of beverages ... XD

today i've got an outfit for you which i have shooted some months ago when it was even warmer. i really love the delicate fabric of the nude coloured dress - it also literally was somewhat nude because it was a bit translucent, but that didn't matter because in symbiosis with the play of light among the willow trees which created a truly charming atmosphere the looks fitted in perfectly.

[en] hi peeps! today i want to show you some shiny new pieces which have found their way into my wardrobe: john lennon tribute sunnies, steampunk sunnies, a white scuba sweater with golden zippers, a delicate white blouse, a loose brown sweater which can be closed with a satin ribbon (it's so cozy and warm, perfect for the winter season), a second hand bought sequined black party dress, a long cardigan made of suede-like fabrics, a floral shirt, my long-awaited mirina collections statement flower choker (get a discount of 20% when using the code 'dahi20' in their onlineshop) plus a fringed dress, new idea books and an electric blue blouse which i have bought on my latest shopping trip with a friend of mine. she also gifted me with a box of kusmi tea and a butterfly brooch which totally matches my taste. also check out her amazing IG account!

[en] hi peeps! today i want to show you some impressions of an evening dress shoot with le boy when it still had been summer. i have worn an electric blue and floor length dress, accompanied with statement earrings, a vintage bracelet and a golden clutch. how i long for warmer days! winter just isn't my favourite season ... fortunately there are christmas markets and tea to shed some light to these cold and dark days.

CHRISTMAS: DIY - how to create your own advent calendar.

[en] hi peeps! i love to be creative and i love handmade things. in my onlineshop i can express myself and my passion for many years. this year le boy and me decided to create our own advent calendar for the holiday season, and not to buy it at the supermarket or elsewhere. today i want to give you some advices on how easy it is to create your own pretty and individual advent calendar. i also show you some impressions of our own one. i guess it turned out quite well :)

it all begins with the selection of the right advent calendar bags, which you can fill up with little gifts and treats. there are no limits being set to the imagination. you can craft them yourself with beautiful velvet fabric in festive colours such as gold, red, emerald green. cut it into squares. take your own individual fillings and put them into the middle of the fabric. use a cord in fitting contrast colours with which you can close the bags afterwards. hang them on the wall or somewhere else, for example your christmas tree, if it is already set.

you can also buy prefabricated bags. we decided to take prefabricated ones this year, because we have loads to do at work at the moment. le boy had the idea that we could hang the advent calendar bags on our dream tree in the bedroom.

those who want to save the mural, can fall back on a wall tattoo in the form of a tree. the bags can eventually be attached to the tree with needle pins.

you don't need to remove the wall tattoo afterwards. after the holiday season it could decorate your home further on.

number cards can easily be crafted with cardboard and typographic skills. but you can also buy prefabricated ones in different beautiful designs online. we decided on THIS SET. the different days are numbers which have to be calculated (11+11), they are written out in english or german or displayed as pretty ornaments.

on DaWanda you will find a greatselection of nice fillings for your advent calendar. or you can fill up your single bags with homebaked delicacies, with gathered chestnuts, with gemstones, origami creations and so much more … there are no limits being set to the imagination.

[en] my dears. today i want to write down all the thoughts that made a difference to the last days. 3 years ago i started this blog. it was my attention to show my readers all that constitutes me and my life. my love of beauty. of art. of literature. of my fellow humans. of all that lies in my soul and all that happens around me.

my blog should be exactly as i am and the way i am constituted.

hence i have written essays about the similarities between the world of death eaters and the national socialists of the third reich. hence statements for gender equality.

i've racked my brain to write something regarding this topic, which concerns me since friday night. then i thought that it is more than due. no, i'm not afraid of becoming political and or of addressing highly sensitive topics. but I wanted to find the best wording … and i also felt somewhat ashamed of posting other, nearly trivial stuff which was in no way consistent  with all i want to share with you right now.

EVENT: impressions from the shoe step of the year 2015.

[en] hi peeps! today i want to show some impressions of the first event i have ever attended, the shoe step of the year 2015. it took place at the beautiful premises of the hotel atlantic kempinski in hamburg - also known as the permanent residence of german singer udo lindenberg. at the event one could spot different VIP's like catherine hummels, marcel remus or sabine lisicki and of course frauke ludowig, who presented the show. as in the previous years.
the shoe step of the year is a fashion journalist award dedicated to each years best fashion contributions focused on shoes.

i have participated with a blog post featuring impressions of a colourful outfit and red high heels and a statement about clothing and fitting shoes and how both in symbiosis can emphasize your individual character.

i could barely believe it when i checked my mails and saw that i really received an invitation to this years' shoe step of the year. i was so proud and happy and couldn't await it.
sadly i wasn't one of the nominees this year but the award winners have truly deserved it and i was honoured enough with the invitation and enjoyed a spectacular evening and the possibility to attend my first event. the award winners included the magazine women's health and blogs such as fashionlunch.de and zukkermaedchen.de.

i decided onto a grey wrap dress from paul costelloe with a low-cut neckline, a white mango blazer, two delicate golden necklaces, statement earrings, red lipstick and matching red bootees with metal details in gold.

SHOOTING: i'm lying in the ocean singing your song

[en] hi peeps! since the days are (again!) getting colder today i want to show you an outfit i believe to be perfect for autumn. a cape to keep away the cold and a midi dress in shades of blue and grey for a little colour splash and a hint of the summer sun. please don't misinterpret my words - i'm not that sad because of lower temperatures and stormy weather. we all have been more than than blessed with sun and warmth the last days and i'm very, very happy with that. a late summer i wished for and i believe it will feed me on for a long time (... and certainly also many others).

SHOOTING: i don't need a valentine, i need valentino.

[en] hi peeps! well, actually the post header doesn't speak the whole truth, because i do not only love my valentino red lace dress, but also my valentine for each day, le boy. and he himself also shot these photos which i really love and which i believe to be fabulous. he once stated that the subject or, in this case, the model, makes the perfect photo. well but i do not believe so. it is the photographer, in symbiosis with the subject/model, who creates the picture bursting with magic. this time i had desire of big hair and thus i backcombed it a little bit and fixed it with some hair spray. i haven't had such big hair for quite a long time - the last time must have been at my prom night in 2007 (oh it has now been some time!), where i also wore a floor-length red dress, but back then it was a ball gown. i combined the floor-length red lace dress with nude coloured high-heels and a sparkling golden clutch. this was the second time we had a shooting at schloss favorite - such a beautiful location for photos. not only because i'm a huge fan of baroque architecture!

[en] hello my dears! today i want to show you some impressions from my latest outfit shoot with le boy at schloss ebersteinburg near baden-baden. it was a perfect, sunny and colourful autumn day with a beautiful view over gernsbach and the river murg which are located in the northern black forest. during the shoot we also took some making-of shots and afterwards we enjoyed a nice glass of white wine at the homonymous restaurant schloss ebersteinburg.

[en] hello my dears! since the days are getting colder and i still would love summer to restart, today i want to share some photos with you which still show some hint of summer mode, featuring a messy braid with flower pins, a hairstyle which i haven't worn for ages, and a twin set containing a neckholder shirt and a maxiskirt. its not in my ownership anymore, because my mum was so enthusiastic about it she wanted me to gift it to her. so i did, lol. but nevertheless ... when the shooting took place, it already had been so freakin cold, it was really freezy, you cannot imagine haha. but well, one always has to be professional, so i simply masked that out XD

[en] hi peeps! today i want to show you some impressions of my latest fashion shooting with norbert huegel photography. we shot at several locations - among them a parking level. this outfit was shot in the rosery at the ebertpark in ludwigshafen. in this outfit i combines the rich cotton texture of the white dress with the airy texture of the chiffon cardigan.

[en] hello my dears. today i want to show you my favourite photographies from my latest fashion shooting with sophie daum. we have shooted on a pretty apple meadow. the grass was full of humming sounds, grasshoppers, and swirling ladybirds and the evening sun coated the nature all around us with a beautiful golden glow. it was fun to shoot with sophie and i can't wait for the next shooting with her.
